Teaching Music Lessons:
Conduct engaging and effective piano lessons tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student.
Lesson Planning:
Prepare lesson plans and materials in advance, ensuring they align with the curriculum and student learning objectives.
Skill Assessment:
Evaluate students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their piano skills.
Motivation and Encouragement:
Inspire and motivate students to practice regularly and achieve their musical potential.
Communication:
Maintain open communication with students and their parents/guardians regarding progress, scheduling, and any concerns.
Professional Development:
Stay updated with current teaching methods, Music repertoire, and music education trends.
Studio Management:
Maintain a clean and organised teaching environment conducive to learning.
Flexibility:
Be available to teach additional hours or days as needed, especially on Fridays depending on student demand and scheduling.
Proven experience as a Music instructor with a track record of successful student outcomes.
Proficiency in teaching various musical styles and genres.
Ideally a minimum 6 months of tutoring experience but not compulsory
Ability to connect with kids, teenagers, and adults
Excellent communication skills to maintain rapport with parents and ensure effective practice at home
Desire to continuously improve and participate in ongoing tutor training
Fun, lively personality with a genuine passion for teaching music
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and ability to work effectively with students of all ages.
Degree in Music Education or equivalent experience preferred.and and scheduling.
